Suitable for: Heads, Senior Staff, Charitable Trustees/Governors and Chairs of Governing bodies

Delegates should leave this course able to ensure that the Trustees/Governors/Chair have the required oversight through knowledge of the requirements, understanding of the way the school is meeting the requirements, and insight into the consequent outcomes for pupils.

Sessions include:

  • The current inspection process
  • Key aspects of the role of the trustees/governors/Chair
  • The Regulatory Requirements (Parts 1-8) – where is oversight required for regulatory compliance?
  • Summary and next steps at school
